...I'd be a better blogger.

But life just keeps getting in the way!

Last week was wild for us. We started our new daycare. The first day was a half day thanks to Mother Nature. So we kind of broke him in. The second day was a full day and he did okay...not a lot of crying, but only napped like 20 minutes. The next days were the same amount of crying, but he did take his normal 2 hour naps. I had to speak with the director about a couple of things that were bugging me. She handled them and we're all set. So now we just have to get through this week. Then his pal, Will, starts there Monday. He's doing okay though.

We took him to Build-A-Bear the weekend before he started there. We let him pick out his own bear and help stuff him and everything. We named him "Happy" because that was the most recent word Miles had been saying and it's a pleasant word so we found it fitting. He loves him! Happy sleeps at school...so Miles looks for him in the mornings when he gets to school.

This past weekend we were eating steak for dinner, Brad having a ribeye and I was having a tuna steak (my fave!). Miles hates anything beef. He saw me eating my tuna and asked for "some". So I gave him a bite and he kind of had to think about it at first, but then chowed down. He asked for more and we gave him a bite of Brad's ribeye, which he tasted and immediately said "away" to get me to take it away and then asked for more of my tuna. The kid ate HALF of my steak! I was so tickled! Refuses a steak, but will eat tuna. :-) Definitely MY child! haha.

We were at Brad's parents' house Sunday and Robert had my car in the garage checking my brake pads and Miles' friend Will, who is starting at Miles' new school Monday, stopped by on his walk with his Mom. She let him out of his stroller and Miles led him to the garage. He patted Robert to get his attention and turned said "Will" and then turned to Will and said "Papa". Seriously?! He's not even 2 and he introduced his friend to Robert. Where on Earth did this kid come from?! He amazes us everyday with something new.

Here he is with his new "bockpock", which is as big as he is. Plenty of room to grow into it.
