...everyone's belly would be this cute!

I have to be honest...at first I was worried about how I would look pregnant. Not that I honestly cared, but I didn't want a lopsided belly or just look fat the whole time. Well, it seems as if my fears have not been realized. :-) I think my belly is the cutest belly EVER. I love that M is in there kicking me. I love that it's hard and stretched to the max. I love that my belly button is still in existence. I love everything about it.

PS - I'm not completely used to people touching it yet. While I understand wanting to rub the belly for good luck, I still feel like you're fondling a fat roll. :-) Sorry!

...I would get flowers EVERYDAY!

Well, I got the most beautiful bunch of tulips today from M! Yes, it seems Mommy is also growing a cell phone in her tummy for little M, who is quite the overachiever already, to call and order her flowers. :-) They are gorgeous and I had just had to share!

It's funny that there is nothing like getting flowers! I love presents of any kind, just like anyone else, but I love flowers! I guess because it's so rare that I get them...but when I do they make me smile over and over and over again. It's amazing how they can bring a smile to my face so easily!

...people wouldn't react poorly to our name choice.

I would just like to say, that if you don't like our name go ahead and act like you do. I've heard tons of names of friends' babies and family's babies that I wasn't crazy about, but out of common courtesy I've acted like it was the most perfect name in the world...and as it turns out it was perfect. Mommy and Daddy know what they're doing when they're naming their baby. If you have kids then you had your shot and I'm sure you either had people who didn't like your name and probably wished they would've kept their traps shut OR people were very supportive of your name choice...either way, extend us the courtesy you remember wanting.

We have reasons for naming our son Miles Brady. Most people have asked what they are and we've told...but if you don't know and haven't asked I've broken it down for you.

Meaning behind the name is this:

First it means "spirited warrior/fighter" and since we obviously had a hard time getting here we feel it's appropriate and he's been a fighter since conception with my slow rising betas.

Miles - I've always loved anyway, but it represents the hundres of miles we've been to get here and the thousands more we'd go if he needed us to.

Brady - really just a round about way of naming him after his daddy, Brad. I call Brad "Braddy" all the time so it was fitting. :)

...we would've been able to get a good face shot.

But I'm completely satisfied with knowing IT'S A BOY! The baby was measuring great. The due date is still 6.26.08. He's 13 oz. right now and just absolutely perfect! He was NOT shy about showing us his weiner and like any other man he had his hand down there making sure it didn't jump off. :-)

We are absolutely over the moon with excitement. B really wanted a boy deep down and he even wore a blue shirt to the ultrasound today. I really thought it was a girl so I was completely surprised...thrilled...but surprised. So there ya go...that's the low-down. Boy it is. :-)

For now we're set on Miles Brady for his name...but we reserve the right to change our mind at birth. ;-)

...I would already know to buy little pink things.

Tomorrow is the big day! I seriously can't wait. I can't think of anything except little teeny penises and vaginas. Yes, I know that would sound terrible in any other context...but I'm serious. I'm dying to find out what I have growing my tummy. And find out if we have a ballerina on our hands or an NFL kicker. :-) COME ON 24 HOURS!!! PASS FAST!!!

...I could borrow Doc Brown's Delorean and fly to Feb. 8th!

Seriously, I know I've made it this far without going crazy...but now that the BIG ultrasound is only 5 days away I'm finding it hard to think about anything else. It's so close and in just 5 days we'll find out if I've been growing a penis or a vagina. THAT'S A BIG DEAL!

Not only do I find out that good news...I also reach the halfway point! Holy cow! It does NOT feel like I've been pregnant for 20 weeks. Then in only 8 more weeks our baby will be viable outside my womb. Granted, we want Biscuit to stay in there for another 20 weeks, but if he/she insists on coming out early we'd like for him/her to wait at least another 8 weeks. For more than one reason...his/her health and potential complications...we don't have any baby things yet...we don't have a crib...clothes (except for a santa outfit thanks to Amanda and some diapers thanks to Courtney)...nor have we gone through any childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes, NOTHING.

Basically, at this point we are so unprepared for this baby that even in 8 weeks I don't think we'll be much more prepared. Sheesh! When you think about all that it gets a little overwhelming...so I think I'll try to think happy thoughts instead. :-) So stay tuned and we'll reveal the sex on Friday, February 8th! I'm thinking pink, Brad's thinking blue, and everyone else is thinking BABY!
