I am thankful.

As I sit here on the beach with the wind blowing in my face (in the shade because of a sunburn and fear of skin cancer) I can't help but think of how amazingly fortunate I am.

I am surrounded by my husband, my painfully adorable son, in-laws and nature at its finest. Life is near perfection...and I'm so lucky to be where I am.

I'm fortunate enough to have family who wants to spend a week in close quarters with me. I'm lucky to be able to let my son experience new things that many kids will never ever experience. I'm lucky that I have a job that allows me to do these things both financially and the time off work.

Life is good and I couldn't possibly be more grateful for the place life (or God) had taken me.
